1. About this policy

This policy describes how AI Floor Plan handles information when you use aifloorplan.org to generate layouts, edit and save plans, explore spaces in 3D, create photorealistic renders, or purchase credits. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.

2. Information we handle

  • Account information: your name, email address, profile image, sign-in provider identifiers, and session records supplied when you sign in.
  • Your creations: prompts, project names, room dimensions, layouts, furniture and opening positions, finishes, saved edits, reference images, generation settings, and results. Generation and render history include job status, timestamps, and credit usage.
  • Billing information: credit balances, purchases, subscription status, payment-provider identifiers, and transaction records. Stripe processes payment details; we do not store full payment-card numbers.
  • Technical and support information: request and error logs, IP addresses and browser information available to our infrastructure, and information you send when contacting us.

3. How we use information

We use this information to sign you in, generate and render plans, save and retrieve creations, provide exports, manage credits and subscriptions, respond to support requests, and maintain and secure the service. We also use usage information to understand and improve the product and billing records to reconcile payments and resolve disputes.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes may involve performing our service contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, legal obligations, or consent where required. Contact us to discuss the basis for a particular use or to withdraw consent where it applies.

4. AI and service providers

Generating a plan sends your prompt and relevant plan information to the configured AI provider, which may be Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini). Rendering sends a 3D reference image and your design instructions to WaveSpeed and the model provider used for that request. Their processing and retention practices also apply to the information they receive.

We use hosting, database, storage, and content-delivery providers to operate the site; sign-in and email providers to authenticate accounts; and Stripe to process payments. When signup abuse screening is enabled, TrueUser may receive your email, name, IP address, and browser information to assess free-credit eligibility. You can contact us about a withheld signup allowance.

Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to investigate misuse or protect rights and security, or in connection with a transfer of the business. Providers may process information outside your country. Applicable protections and rights depend on the processing and your location.

5. Saved plans and retention

Saved plans and generation records are stored with your account so you can return to them. The editor also uses browser storage for drafts, preferences, and recovery information. Clearing browser storage can remove local work that has not been saved to your account.

Deleting a creation removes it from your visible history; it does not immediately erase its underlying record. Related content and credit records may remain for billing, support, security, and dispute handling. Contact us to request deletion of personal information or your account. Retention depends on the information needed to provide the service, resolve requests or disputes, and meet legal obligations; backups and provider records can have separate retention periods.

Rendered images are temporary: downloads through AI Floor Plan are available for up to six days from submission, subject to provider availability. Download images you want to keep. History and settings can remain after an image expires. Expiration of an image link is not a promise that every related record has been erased.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for sign-in and session security and browser storage for editor functionality. When enabled, Google Analytics measures page visits and interactions using cookies and information such as browser and device details, referring pages, and approximate location. These identifiers and usage records may constitute personal information.

You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser, although blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or other features from working. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. See Google’s explanation of Analytics data collection and how Google uses information from partner sites.

7. Access and security

Saved creation and render-history access is scoped to your signed-in account. Exported files and copies you share can be accessed by their recipients. Uploaded assets or provider-hosted reference images may have delivery URLs accessible to anyone who obtains them; a hard-to-guess URL is not a confidentiality guarantee.

We use access controls and other safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Do not include passwords, payment details, or information you are not authorized to share in prompts, plans, or reference images.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where applicable law permits or requires it.

The service is not intended for children under 13 or a higher minimum age required locally. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice where required. For questions about this policy or your information, email [email protected]. Our Terms of Service explain use of the product.
